Sleeping dogs

It seems like just a second ago that these two were the same size.

And suddenly, crazily, I know – I know, it is the game that all parents and other folks who watch babies grow play – one got much bigger.*

And, one day, when it went to cuddle up with kitty and Hazel, it just didn’t fit quite right.

This story is a lot like the 3 bears, except there’s only one bed.  Well that and the bears are still in the one bed when this Goldilocks tries it out.

The Goldilocks kept trying to fit.  And the photographer kept having giggle fits.

But Just Right just wasn’t happening, until. . .

until the photographer broke down and got them a bigger bed.

Ahhh.  Just Right.

*It is more interesting than watching grass grow, isn’t it?

I was wondering if Gladys is a portuguese podengo smooth coat? His markings and forehead wrinkles remind me a little of my podengo mix, Marshall. Plus, your pup’s ears stand straight up :P

Gladys is a bull terrier puppy. As she has grown her head and face, she has looked like many other things – most notably a possum.
