Meet Little B.
What do you do when you find a muscled bundle of sparky life force and athletic prowess like this at the end of your leash?
Simple. You help her find something she loves to do!
Most owners teach their four legged companions how to excel in events such as weight pull, fly ball, agility, etc. Well the opposite is the case with Little B. She taught me how to participate in weight pull. While at a fun show I hooked her up and gave it a shot.
Well, with the lead attached she proved to show unconditional love and pulled right to me until we hit the end of the track where she crawled up on my lap and waited for me to carry her off. (You see Little B expects to be carried as opposed to walking.) Realizing that she has a desire to pull herself closer to me I took her to have her hips OFA‘d and once she was cleared to pull we decided to attend our first real weight pull event.
It is easy to see why Little B is always smiling since her mom proves to be a complete doofess on the track. At this pull I lost my shoe and fell off of the track doing some backwards crawl fish walk (see above photo of my falling on my arse off of the end of the track.)
By george she finally got it and I finally learned that my job was to keep her happy and healthy and just stay close by so she could see me and hear me.
This happy vibrant girl of mine not only taught me patience and to have faith in others to get the job done but also to always smile.

No, it’s a smile, really. We are always judge wrong.
Great story – go Little B! I would choose a tagline like:
Strong back,
Soft heart.
Of course you could use neck or hips in place of back – looks like she’s using them all!
