Trick City 1.2: Jump Over

by Jen on March 2, 2011

We had so much fur – I mean Fun – with our Trick City Challenge*, that I decided to make it into one of our Official Contests.

Here’s how it works (for now, until I see some glaring reason to change the rules):

  • We post a photo of a  trick (& a deadline).

Like this:

Trick City 1.2:  Jump Over (expiration 3/5/11 midnight)

pk311gladjump

(Gladys calls this one “Smoked Salmon Upriver”, cause that was her pay.)

  • You post a photo of your dog doing the trick, on our Facebook Page, with your email, by the deadline & you get a $10 Fetching Tags gift certificate (limit 1 certificate, per trick, per household).

Your successful entry might look like thispk211dante

or this

pk211scoutjump

or even like this

pk211sheltie

but not like this

pk311gnojump

or like this

pk311ghnojump

  • From the successful trick photos, we’ll choose a Trick City Challenge winner, based on added trickiness, creativity, or plain hilarity, who will receive a $20 gift certificate.   We still love clever names, so as long as your trick is some variation of the Challenge (Jump Over in this case), please feel free to rename it.

Now jump to it!  Trick City 1.2 is on. . .

Notes:

A few of you asked to submit videos for our last Trick City Challenge.  We will accept them for now – under 30 seconds in length to qualify.

Do you have a trick that you’d like to submit for a challenge?  Email your trick photo to me & if we use it in a challenge, you’ll get a $15  gift certificate .

How often will the trick change?  I don’t know yet – make sure you check the expiration on the the challenge.

You may not submit a photo from a previous contest as an entry.

We’re going to start with a couple of favorites from the 1st Trick City Challenge.

*Posts from the original Trick City Challenge here, here, & there.

So, for each contest we enter, we get a 10 dollar certificate? And if we enter three qualifying photos, for three different contests, will we be able to use all the certificates at once? Or will they not stack?

This sounds like fun! Can’t wait to get a picture of Enzo :)

Good questions, Charlie. Yes, for each contest in which you complete a successful entry, you’ll get a $10 certificate. As far as stacking goes, I’m not sure yet. I definitely want to maximize incentive, but can’t go broke in the process!

Dante is quite honored that you included his picture as an example! He’s also wondering what he can jump to top “ring of fire”…… ;)

Absolutely! Whichever you decide, it will definitely be fun!
