Vote for Dashiell!

by Jen on November 3, 2011

Just look at this dashing guy. . .
Dash was retired from racing in April of this year;  we brought him home in
June from Greyhound Adoption Service of Salisbury, MA and he turned 3 in October.
They are great folks!

We also have Dinah, a retired racer, who turned 10 in April and her tagline is:
Someone’s in the kitchen with….  We’ve had Dinah for almost 8 years.

Greyhounds are generally pretty goofy, like to eat and sleep, and get the odd run
in or two (at top speed of course…) so “Dine and Dash” just seemed to be the
right tagline!!

You have my vote, Dash! We love sighthounds here (we have 6 and 4 of them are Greyhounds). Your tagline is very clever and perfect for a Grey. Thanks for opening your home and hearts to retired racers.

Oh, Shannon – 6 sighthounds?? Wow – what are the 2 that aren’t greyhounds? I’ve always thought that Irish Wolfhounds were pretty amazing…

Karen, I also have an Ibizan Hound and a Galgo Espanol. :)

Irish Wolfhounds are pretty awesome dogs, but one day I want to have a Scottish Deerhound too. :)

one day I’d like to have an ibizan.

Hey, Shannon – An Ibizan and a galgo , plus the 4 greyhounds – wow.

Jen, you have a great crew – and that new pup. I have to write that I particularly loved the pics of Bea with Gladys, tho….

Thanks, Liz!
