Meet Jinjo.

Jinjo is an 11 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi with a heart for adventure. Not much of a fan of hugs, cuddles, or couch time, he’s always around for snack time but quickly dispatches over an empty bag, which leads my father reminding him every night “Well you’re a fair weather friend!” So it was just meant to be, that is his tagline!

& here’s Enda.

Enda is a 2 year old Beauceron.She’s fun, active, free spirited, and has a never ending love for round bouncing objects!

Sir Lebowski, AKA The Dude or “Bowski” for short, is a Peruvian Inca Orchid rescue,  & native of Miami. Named after “The Dude” from The Big Lebowski, a classic in our home.

He enjoys long walks on the beach (slathered in sunscreen, of course), sunbathing at the local dog park (never playing, he only wants to chill), beetle hunting (he is a hound, afterall) and his extensive collection of skin care products.

Occupation: Beetle Exterminator and Connoisseur

Likes: Unscented lotion, comfy sweaters,  burrowing in blankets and watching The Big Lebowski.

Dislikes: Finger pointing, dieting and anyone peeing on his rug (“Well, sir, it’s this rug I had. It really tied the room together.”)

Izzie the Wonder Pug,

titled Agility Dog of Canada,  Starters Games Dog of Canada, & Canine Good Neighbour,

is a 3 year old Pug who lives in Alberta, Canada.

Izzie came to us at the age of 12 weeks old after being in her first home for only 4 weeks, she was a little firecracker with a ton of personality then and she hasn’t changed a bit.

She currently competes in Agility and Rally and is training in in Scent Hurdle and Competition Obedience. Alongside sports she is an animal assisted therapy dog and works with seniors and special needs adults.

Meet Sherman T. Tank.

He’s our one year old Dobermenace.  Judging by all the treasures of ours that he’s consumed, one might think he is really a billy goat.  Sherman’s ears are not clipped and extremely large; actually reminiscent of The Flying Nun.  But he’s our Sherman and we love him.

Meet  Mabel, the bug.

Awh Mabel…our first love, we met on the Internet and knew we were MFEO.
She’s the perfect mix of playful and loving. She’s our MDB because she’s been our most expensive doggie…getting fixed, anal gland removal, nose job and tumor removal are the surgeries I can recall in her short 2 years of life.
Mabes is also allergic to everything, so we’ve spent boatloads on special foods and remedies to help her eternal itch.
Every dime has been worth it!
No one gives goodnight kisses like Mabel! And no one is happier to see you than Mabel (tagline 2nd runner up for Mabel was Wiggle Butt).

Gladys may be the youngest in our family and the runt of her litter, but she is the only one who can leap onto our high bed in a single bound.

She earned her tag line very early in her life by being clever…breaching every barrier we put in front or around her to get to her goal. Thank goodness she’s never been a shoe girl!

I took this picture of our Stoneleigh (a supermodel in his own right) on St Patty’s Day and saw that it came out perfectly so thought I’d send for you!

We have 4 dogs, all of which have your tags. . .  Yes, they are spoiled boys, but as rescues, all deservedly so!

Stoneleigh was the last addition to our family just a year ago… I went through the tags and couldn’t find anything that just clicked for him.  As an Anatolian Shepherd/Pyrenees mix we had to adapt to his ‘guardian’ personality and discovered quickly that they do things on their own terms, when and how they want and not too much can motivate them to do otherwise!  Additionally,  we found it amusing that when he decides something is his, which is often … water bowl, food, toy, stick, chair, trash, etc.  he ‘tells’ the others somehow and they do exactly what he says.  Hence, his tag line  and it stuck…
